Bouquet Jewelry
"The Knot is used for protection and defense. It is a scared symbol and signified the concealment or secrecy surrounding scared mysteries: only those who created the knot knew how to untie it because they possessed the secret. They are used as methods of defense against enemies, wild animals, spells, demons, sickness and death. Brides in ancient Greece fastened knots to their girdles, which only the bridegroom was allowed to untie."
I bought this at a Renaissance Fair. I loved the history and symbolism behind it, especially the part about the ancient Greek brides wearing it. I wanted to incorporate it in my wedding some how, and then I thought it would be perfect to use as bouquet jewelry!
Napkins
Table Numbers
My first DIY project a success!
Card Box
Matches
Russell and I are having a cigar roller at our wedding, so we bought personalized matches for the cigar table.
Guest Book
It was so hard to get a good picture of the frame because it's so reflective, but
it looks so nice in person.
(and that picture we're using inside the frame is one of the pictures from our engagement portraits)

Escort Cards
Another DIY project a success :)
Russell made a paper crane for each one of our guests (well each couple, not each individual guest) and I sewed the string through the crane and attached the aqua tag where our guests' names and table numbers will be written. We plan on hanging the cranes on a branch centerpiece on our escort card/guest book table for our guests to pick up as they walk into our reception.
